Random #Krita PSA (this is the second time I've explained how animations work in a reddit comment): You don't need one layer per frame! In fact if you have one layer per frame it will mess you up! Layer contents are DIFFERENT ON EACH FRAME (well, they don't have to be, hence "keyframes").
