Corporate greed shut down the ports, not workers. These workers cannot be expected to pull upwards of 80 hour weeks and not be compensated fairly for making hundreds of billions for management. They handle trillions of dollars worth of commerce a year! Fucking pay them!
I'm not even sure it's the money that's the sticking point. Three ports have now switched entirely to automated and there's a demand for protections against any more.

Strikes are supposed to be disruptive, inconvenient, and uncomfortable. That's how you know its working. Direct your anger and frustrations at the right target. Hint: its not your fellow working-class neighbor.
