I feel like theres a massive difference between suggesting to someone they might be trans and shit like making snarky comments about someone you dont know based on things they post. The former feels helpful and the latter is way more likely to just scare someone who's still figuring it out
The first time i heard of this idea it was in the context of like, not making jokes/speculating about public figures which totally makes sense to me. Then i heard about the whole "egg prime directive" thing and never mentioning it to anyone ever and thats just really stupid.
