There's a mission in the latest Legend of Heroes game where you need to blag your way into a secure lab at a university. You do it by claiming you want to discuss a new research grant. At which point a senior academic immediately lets you in. It's the most accurate uni security breach ever.

Just tell ‘em you’re here to do maintenance on the laminar flow cabinets. Should be good for entry minimum once a week.

I like it on TV shows where they have to get into a tech company's offices and they dupe a keycard etc. Mate, just wait by the door with a Red Bull and say you forgot your card to literally anyone that enters. GTA5 almost got it right.

So real, you don't even need credentials or appointments Just dress up nicely dressed, say some fancy words, mention money, you can see like 90% of the university right away

I could never verify the story but ~20yrs ago I was told about a south coast university that welcomed someone claiming to be a visiting professor. It was only when a cleaner complained about him walking round naked they investigated and discovered he was actually homeless and had blagged his way in.
