Many people are going to feel the need to defend trans care for adults using the libraries of published evidence supporting its safety and efficacy--which is fine, but the actual standard to uphold is "it's my body and I fucking said so"

While I agree 100% with the sentiment, being noisy about the studies is critical if we expect insurance companies to pay for trans care.

Left out is how this impacts cis men who love & are next of kin/healthcare advocates for transgender men & boys, women and girls. They want to be empowered to protect and provide for those they love & they’re even reduced to hapless observers & begging for mercy in crisis.

“Health freedom”. “Parents’ rights” It’s the fact that the legislature is not empowered or qualified to interfere in individual medical decisions. Those used to be considered private. The Dobbs decision didn’t just screw people who can get pregnant. It’s part of a eugenics program.
