Fast food workers I know are proud of the fact that their stores provide a fresh start for newly released inmates. May they someday welcome Trump.

When I worked as a delivery driver at Pizza Hut in Seattle in the early ā€˜80s, all the cooks were recently released ex-cons. Nothing but respect for them and their work, but their probation officers made sure they showed up each day.

Similar result when I Googled ā€œpumpkin treeā€ decorative branches sold at Trader Joeā€™s. I learned I tā€™s actually a Thai eggplant bush, but the follow up gave the growing time for the squash.

LE GIANT SIGH

image of a Google search for "difference between a sauce and a dressing"

- Al Overview:
"The main difference between a sauce and a dressing is their purpose: sauces add flavor and texture to dishes, while dressings are used to protect wounds"

- Sauces: Add flavor, texture, and visual appeal to dishes. Sauces can also add contrasting or complementary flavors and colors to a plate. For example, tomato sauce is a common base for Mexican salsas and Italian pasta dishes. ā†’

Voting to abolish slavery may be one of the high points of my ballot this year.

A ballot zoomed in on proposition six, which abolishes ā€˜involuntary servitude.ā€™ The ā€˜yesā€™ bubble is filled.

My maternal grandmother was born in 1903 in rural Virginia, near Roanoke. I remember her saying in her 80s that she didn't vote because she didn't think women should. But if she did vote, she added, she would vote for the Democrats, because during the Great Depression FDR gave her husband a job.
