I’ve been following capyloon that is working off of a Firefox OS base. Not moving very fast but one of the few active projects I’ve found working on similar principles. capyloon.org

I’m trying to convince my team that we need to switch from our Ubuntu based ansible formed nodes over to Talos, pxe, and cluster api. Or maybe to omni but not sure how it differs from that stack. Still trying to convince them it’s not a bad thing to not be able to ssh in.
A colleague brought up that there was a blackberry documentary. It got me to wondering… if Android hadn’t taken the other big portion of the market share along side iOS… would Apple have taken all? Firefox OS, blackberry, Microsoft, palm maybe have had a chance?
