My family for some reason doesn’t appreciate when I point out old long lines towers or other pieces of infrastructure. I can’t help but spot it. Its cool to look around and see how these things are all around us

This does seem to be a pattern. Timing wise seems to be associated with the rise of LLMs. Makes me wonder if this made people realize how valuable the data they have is

I’ve been following capyloon that is working off of a Firefox OS base. Not moving very fast but one of the few active projects I’ve found working on similar principles. capyloon.org

I’m trying to convince my team that we need to switch from our Ubuntu based ansible formed nodes over to Talos, pxe, and cluster api. Or maybe to omni but not sure how it differs from that stack. Still trying to convince them it’s not a bad thing to not be able to ssh in.
