Opinionated but try to admit when I'm wrong. I drink too much on Fridays and I am going grey, getting fat and I make an involuntary noise when I pick things up from the floor.

I'm looking forward to the headlines whenever Sunak sneezes in the next 6 weeks.

Please remember: there are more than two parties standing in the UK general election 😉 In particular, my own party, the Liberal Democrats will have an important role unseating Tory MPs. I mean seats like Winchester aren't going to elect a Labour MP are they? (Labour lost their deposit in 2019!)

Same. Redwood is a dinosaur and deserves to be turfed out. I believe the LD candidate is the leader of the council and is popular. 🤞

Wokingham could go LD I think. Spelthorne is a good example of a problem constituency: Lab/LD very evenly split. Only LD have declared a candidate and there will be strong campaign to borrow Lab votes.

I dread the summer. It will be constant culture war bollocks and ad hominem attacks, to try and score points before the election. It will be carnage.

Gullis is racist fucknugget. I give him 2 weeks before he humiliates himself and lowers the polls even further. Ignorant berk.

I so hope so, but voting booths are confidential and people will tick that Conservative box - just because they always have. I will believe when I see it.

Guided by Peace Parks and its partners in Mozambique, local communities are participating in critical mangrove restoration work in a context that isn't always breezy from a security risk perspective. I feel honoured to be the new @blueactionfund.org focal point for E&S Safeguards for this project.

Restoring Critical Carbon Sinks Mangrove Forests
Restoring Critical Carbon Sinks Mangrove Forests

The spectacular Maputo National Park in southern Mozambique is one of the most biologically diverse and endangered ecoregions on Earth. Its unique ecosystems, however, face the challenge of climate change and ocean shifts, calling for adaptive solutions. To strengthen resilience and reduce vulnerability to climate change and extreme weather events, Mozambique’s National Association for Conservation Areas and local communities are reforesting valuable mangrove forests. Mangrove forests offer a bioshield against storm surges and protect against coastal erosion. They shelter diverse aquatic species and important fish stocks, as well as providing fuelwood and medicinal resources for local communities. By supporting initiatives like these, Peace Parks Foundation and Eden Reforestation, through the generous Blue Action Fund, are assisting crucial environmental protection programmes and securing sustainable livelihoods in coastal communities. Visit parquemaputo.gov.mz to find out more about Maputo National Park, and be inspired by the positive impact of the Blue Action Fund by visiting peaceparks.org. ______________ Follow our journey on social media: - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/peaceparkstvsocial/ - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/peaceparks.tv/ - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/peace-parks-tv/ - Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@peaceparks.tv
