I coined the term emuskulation to describe what has happened to Twitter. But I think it could just as well be used to describe what happens to someone’s mind when they become too rich and powerful.

I think there’s a common perception that people who make a lot of money must be very clever. But it just means, at best, that they are clever at making money, plus lucky. It doesn’t even mean they are clever at doing anything useful.
