Wait til you hear that a bunch of old archaeologists decided that random v's carved into a wall were supposed to represent vulvas 🙄
Hey US friends, you can get more free Covid tests from USPS now (takes just a few seconds, just put in your address). It’s kind of like the government giving us a water balloon for a house fire, but I’ll take advantage of anything free anyway. special.usps.com/testkits
*stage whispers* WE'RE STILL IN A PANDEMIC
I thought you meant "literally nobody" wants to play 😭😂
4 yrs ago today, a family member managed a truly spectacular own goal, splintered his domestic bliss, & in the process, united the world for a day. On popular request, I shall now recreate the livetweet thread from that day So gather around children, for this is the tale of The Rice Truck Saga
That's how much they charge for an in-house rotor change? 🤯
Those look practically new! I feel fortunate that my dad used to be a mechanic & I know not to be duped by them. It's so frustrating to be treated like I'm incapable of having any mechanical knowledge though.
I struggle with this in the sense I don't find my research to be that important bc after working on it for years it just seems simple & obvious to me. And other people have to repeatedly remind me otherwise.
Yeah, just cus they are awful now doesn't erase the positive impact they've had on me and others. But it does force you to kind of reckon with this cognitive dissonance & the reality that everyone has faults and no one is perfect (even if we love them)
I love them but don't really like them much anymore. But there is no resolving these 2 things. They were important in shaping who I am today but they have so much hate in their hearts. I mourn the relationship we used to have & can't just discount how important they have been to me. Both are true.
