It has been a long time since I've had to try to build up communication lines on a new social media channel. Anything related to game design (or our game design) y'all want to talk about?
My hopes for our small public playtest last night were that players could get in the game. But they explored blue zones for ~hour and then grouped for the final boss and many said they had fun! This was a tiny playtest but we will do more. Our release is definitely not imminent

It's fine to play all by yourself - sometimes we just don't have the energy to play with others. But this is a multiplayer game at its core and all the systems reflect that.
But above all, we think MMOs are about other players. If you are looking for a completely single player experience, there are great games out there that do that. (Try HZD or FF16!)
When I say we are making an MMO or something MMO-like, that's because folks have different definitions of what MMO means and I don't want to set up any disappointing expectations
