I have to use the phone for work and sometimes I get an echo so I can hear myself. Five minutes of that is too long. I can't imagine hearing it for over an hour.

We already have plenty of good words that we were already using before everything became 'content'. You've got one in your username. Readers, viewers, watchers, listeners. Writers, animators, filmmakers, artists, musicians. Content, content creator and consumer are so vague and corporate sounding.

[a person is sitting at a desk in front of a computer. The room is extremely messy except for what the camera can see in the background]

Video chat is a chance for my internet friends to get to know the real me.

There was a Dave McKean exhibition at my local gallery when I was in college and seeing his work up close in person was amazing.

Another bit of wall in my living room. There's a curio shelf full of more Monster in my Pockets, topped with trolls, a thimble shelf full of small toys, more pocket watches, another small curio shelf with random figures in, fairy lights (up since January), keyrings a random print I liked and a carded Harley Quinn figure.
The top of my DVD cabinet where I keep the Sega Saturn games and boxed accessories, (most of) the Sonic the Hedgehog games and a few Sonic toys, including a cursed movie plush.
My office chair. You cannot sit in it. It belongs to the Harley Quinns (and a single Poison Ivy).
A close-up of my desk. There's pens (some novelty, some not), some Funko My Little Ponies, a TV shaped pet toy which I bought as a photo prop, and in the back a white board with stickers on and some drawing templates hanging from nails.

I have recently been introduced to the term 'cluttercore'.

The wall over my bed, covered in a selection of white shelves filled with mostly soft toys, but also rubber ducks and a couple of antique metal butterflies.
The cabinet at the top of my stairs, complete with artificial toadstools, a framed photo of my mum, 3/4 of a vintage Loch Ness monster figure, a ceramic teddy bear, a skeleton bobblehead, a tealight holder full of rubber balls, a plant growing out of a skull and a lamp with an upside down shade. Above it is a large-ish wall until filled with various toys and figures and a small set of shelves filled with vintage Soma figures. To the left is a windowsill covered in Halloween decorations and more plants, this time in octopus pots.
The view from the top of my stairs. Pride flags hang at the bottom, the front door is covered in stickers, and the walls are covered in shelves full of toys, keyrings and pocket watches.
My living room wall. There's an old mirror, a coffin shaped shelf full of Monster in my Pockets arranged into a rainbow, a 4 x 8 grid of M.U.S.C.L.E. packs, some Adventure Time toys, more shelves of toys and figures, a Sonic poster, and a few other bits. In front of it is a sofa you can't currently sit on.
