On the X platform, Opinium says: "These results need to be taken with a pinch of salt, especially compared to our past Voting Intention work, as they are not weighted to our standard weightset. However, they give some limited indication on broader trends." (x.com/OpiniumResea...)
I acquired a follower here who I do not think I would ever want to interact with and would block very quickly if they ever caused trouble, but it didn't seem right to block them "without trial". What if it were someone who might be influenced a little by what I posted for the better?
Can you illustrate what you mean for that word?
As it's a month before the election, maybe it's a "get out the vote" initiative? Amongst Fox viewers, might it drive turnout more than it swings votes?
There may be some already in the house, but I think the males explore at this time of year and some come in from outside (if there is an easy way for them to do so). This is a excellent (2 minute) video about it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJSY.... (I'm amazed how they managed to capture all this.)
It's the males roaming, searching for a female to mate with. The females tend to stay wherever they are and wait.
Not just accurate, but easily verifiable through observation. I wonder about this change in Georgia - if the recruited counters are not impartial then there could be co-ordinated bias (e.g. applying different standards to rejecting Harris / Trump ballot papers or introducing deliberate errors).
I will be leaving my binoculars out on the window ledge just in case I am lucky enough that it decides to perch and hoot there again (especially in the next few days when the moon is [nearly] full).
Last night (at about 11.50 pm) I heard some very close. On looking out of my window, I saw the sillhouette of one perching on the top of this television aerial on a nearby house and could hear it (and at least one other more distant) hooting. So they may be exploring residential areas too.
That's a big part of it. I think there are others who don't follow current affairs much and do not see the danger he is (especially given the foolish Supereme Court ruling about presidential immunity for official acts). Hopefully the endorsements of Harris by the Cheneys will be a wake up call.
