They're gonna widen the AC Expressway. Sucks. www.acewidening.com Leave a public comment saying it's a bad idea.

New blog post: In the last decade (Fall '12 to Fall '22), public K-12 enrollment in NJ declined & most of its counties (obvi?). The same happened in Gloucester County, & I drill down into which districts gained/lost students, & how much. glassbro.blog/posts/007_en...

My local NIMBYs are losing it over a solar farm proposed for an illegal landfill. Concern trolling over the fossil fuels required to manufacture the panels, the trees cut down, & the "open space" that was a privately owned contaminated dumping ground. 42freeway.com/news/64-acre...

Cape May county brought over 20 new homes online per 100 people since 2000, the most by far. North NJ built wayyyy less than Central & South. I calculate the "New Housing Rate" using county-level new home warranties data from the NJ Dept of Community Affairs & Census 2000 pop counts.

My latest transit reliability rankings are out: glassbro.blog/posts/006_tr... Who's trains break down the least/most often? Find out. But it's not NJ Transit! Using the 2022 (most recent year, released this November) National Transit Database from the FTA.

Public K-12 enrollment in NJ (incl charters) fell 2.8% in the last decade. Only 2 counties grew their enrollment, despite most gaining population overall. & Jersey City is no longer has the 2nd largest school district in the state. It's Elizabeth SD now. glassbro.blog/posts/005_en...
