Same. The painful thing is that the Harper government changed this law in 2009. So if I'd realized I could do this earlier in my life, I would have had a chance to be Canadian.
I know this is not the most important topic today, but I meant to spend the day editing grad student papers. Instead, I've spent most of it reformatting documents for NSF, which I'd just reformatted last year. What is the total cost of federal agencies constantly changing required document formats?
This is correct, and not all agencies have this limitation. NASA, for example, has no problem paying you three months of summer salary if your university will allow.
