That's not to knock Bluesky. This is every platform with some discovery. The more visible, the more easily it's yoinked. It's a double edged sword. AI turns watermarks into weird scribbles. To really protect your style, use nightshade and glaze. ⚠️ Art isn't safe from AI here, there or anywhere
Yet nobody understands that here stuff is still getting yoinked by AI too
I don't think anyone believes that Twitter was the only place art could be stolen from. It's the lack of explicit consent/inability to opt out to train its built-in AI combined with paywalling blocks the way they paywalled visibility that creates a straw-camel back situation for many.
This is EXACTLY why all of my posts are covered with an anti-AI filter, watermarked heavily, and also lower resolution when posting. I've had a handful of AI Artists / VTubers following me since yesterday, and we're in an age where it can't be avoided - so it's important to be protected.
My basic rule is: Unless you own the database where you post your art and you have NEVER connected it to the internet? Your art is safe and can't be scraped. As long as it's online it can and will be scraped, that doesnt mean that making the switch to bsky isnt necessary. 1/2
Here's @theglazeproject.bsky.social the BS link for Glaze and Nightshade which let's you show your art but poison models which steal it.
