i think the question is more “why would they ever accept a loss again?”

dems are inviting a second coup attempt with their refusal to tighten the screws on guys like hawley, cruz, thomas, etc who had close ties to the 1/6 mob

They didn't in 1960, claiming that Kennedy cheated. in 64, they warned against big cities with fraudulent voting. They also claimed that Bill Clinton didn't win fairly (plurality, not majority) They were going to challenge Gore's victory in 1992, but then he won and though they were saying that

I mean, they should because we're supposed to be a country where voters choose their leaders...but they won't because they'll believe their own rationalizations and made up news stories about "voter fraud" and so on.
