Pro-tip: Leave the carrier out and open all the time. A clean towel, a toy, maybe a random treat just hanging out. Cats love caves. Occasionally, when cat is chilling in his cave, close the door, gently pick it up and move him to another safe happy place. Open the door, rinse and repeat.
