It was a street photographer's gift, and was posted as a light-hearted image. Nonetheless, an older gentleman whom I've known for years, prickly at the best of times, couldn't resist leaving bigoted comments about immigrants, and how things were different (I.e. better) when he was young. (2 of 2)
This popped up in my Facebook Memories from 2013. I called "North Wales Police - The Musical". I was photographing the Police Station in Lancaster Square, Conwy, when these two officers walked into shot. Noticing me, one gave me jazz hands. Too good an opportunity to miss. (1 of 2)
At least I know, now. Thank you for your honesty.
And enthusiastically, with bad intentions. Evil things. (I don't mind the fruit, though. Does that make me a hypocrite?)
I have to fight a constant battle with brambles from next door's garden. Bloody things. Hate 'em.
It boils down to finding it increasingly difficult, for me, to find an approach that reflects any kind of originality, or even freshness. It feels as though, whatever I do, it's been done a million times before, and better. Also, the kind of travel photography I'd like to do, I simply can't afford.
Arles is a beautiful town - was there last year.
I'll be posting some more (colour) images next week that show a slightly less modern shiny aspect of the town.
Thanks, Rob. I've never heard Rhyl being called futuristic before, but a lot of effort and investment has been put into regenerating the town. There's still some work to do, though!
