Fucking “Indigo children” to “explain” autism too. Though I’m more of the opinion that the average human throughout history has been not all that connected with reality.

fun fact: years after I started going by 'indigo' someone at a convention asked me if I was an 'indigo child' and I got instantly skeeved. I had to go home and look it up and got retroactively angry at them.
