yeah it's a huge pain in the ass. you can dump them in there and then take them out right away, you just need to have registered them once, but still it's a lot of work.

my gf just wiped her save and started over like a month ago and now she's regretting it lol it's kind of a crazy requirement, but at least it doesn't seem to have an end date

yeah they did it a while ago, I believe it was because you had a bunch of losers going over there and getting offended by loli and stuff like on twit, and they were not dealing with that shit

i thought misskey was cool but it is a bit archaic with a lot of its design, which i guess is on purpose and it has a bit of charm to it but it was rather difficult to use regularly also them banning foreigners kind of killed any momentum for non JP users lol
