Word of warning if you got a UV-K5 with the charging cradle that connects to AC: One broken off wire and a bit of bad luck and your battery connector is connected to 110V/230V. Quality (proper isolation) of the transformer is also unknown. 🔌☠️⚡ #hamradio#amateurfunk

The kit is fairly easy to build. I just built a QMX+ the other day and it works great (once i noticed that the jumper to connect the bnc to the rf board was not installed 😂)

Building the QRP-LABS QMX+ was a lot of fun! I was wondering initially why i was not getting and TC power out and i could only hear -33dbm signals injected to the radio. Then i realized i missed the step where you actually need to connect the bnc to the radio via a jumper 😂 #hamradio#amateurradio
