Gonna have to steal this one once my video game one peters off.
I ran out of space to say, but credit to LunarNET for these scans. It is difficult to find decently-sized/quality images for this game, despite its popularity, and this was a godsend. Blessed be the dedicated fansites, keeping memories alive. I do hope the remaster brings more resources with it.
4. Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. Itself a remake of a Sega CD RPG, I am very much looking forward to the new remaster coming next year, and am intrigued by rumors of a new translation. A very fun cast, great art style, and a very fun soundtrack. Jessica is probably my favorite party member.
Not at all bad form, no. People are posting art, etc, from past platforms to have it all in one spot, plus like, who does it harm? Post away, especially for the benefit of people who are newer to you and your body of work.
3. Super Robot Wars J. I am a fan of the series in general, but this was my first, and honestly, probably remains my favorite of the ones I've played so far. It introduced me to some deeper cuts, like being my first exposure to Brain Powerd, as well as Hades Project Zeorymer. Fun stuff.
2. Hades, another heavy favorite. I'd been considering grabbing it for a time, but @silencedrowns.bsky.social finally convinced me to cave. I'm glad she did. Addicting gameplay, engaging characters, beautiful music. "Farewell to all the earthly remains. No burdens, no further debts to be paid...."

1. Going to start with probably my favorite game of all time, Phantasy Star 4. It has a pretty damn engrossing story by 16-bit standards, and is commonly held to be the best RPG on the Genesis with good reason. You do not need to have played previous entries, but it helps provide a bit of context.
Oh wow, that's pretty.
