We re-launched Home Learning last Friday for 2024 / 25. Our first week using @SparxReader with all of KS3 (720 students) @TrinityAcademyL saw the first deadline draw in at 7pm this evening. The results are in ... 🥁🥁🥁 Year 7 ... 99.6% Year 8 ... 99.6% Year 9 ... 98.3%

Every year our staff complete an anonymised staff survey benchmarked against 250 trusts and over 3,000 schools. I'm delighted that our results place us in the top ten nationally for workload balance and wellbeing. Workload balance is essential for retention and recruitment.
Had the pleasure of delivering staff training today on the implementation of our Golden Toolkit @TrinityAcademyL. Five pedagogical tools employed to support the needs of our vulnerable learners to strengthen our Wave 1 provision delivered through Deliberate Practice. 💜🌟
The artefact (booklet, slides etc) is not the curriculum. Co-planning time is the key ingredient.
Lots of discussion around consistency (/prescription) and autonomy with centralised resources. We have a curriculum and knowledge map to allow curriculum coherence (especially as students move through school and teachers) and delivery this through booklets. However... our booklets are NOT ...
Tomorrow is our Induction Day @TrinityAcademyL! A morning offering new staff (and existing!) a comprehensive overview of our Culture 20 Playbook, followed for an afternoon of Deliberate Practice of key routines. Excited to kickstart our CPD programme at Elland Road! 💜🌟
