There’s an internal awareness of its societal value in both my current and previous institution, and I’m grateful to my different HoDs support. Without a mechanism to fund that though there’s not a lot of external pressure in the way there is for teaching and research, so it’s easily squeezed.

Agreed. It's a shame that #KEF doesn't carry the same incentives / rewards as other frameworks. Otherwise it's down to leaders' attitudes, though great that you have a supportive one.
