Yeah the book The Hobbit is shorter than any of the LoTR books and yet they turned it into three movies. Bad times.

i was caught by surprise at the theatre bc i actually thought it was gonna be just one movie, even if it was long asf, and then i thought it was gonna be made only into two volumes, like that would make sense for a book meant for kids that turned into an epic saga...
