Also one of the funniest experiences was in Sinister during the lawnmower tape when the lawnmowing part goes on a liiiiittle too long then BAM! Run over the families heads with the lawnmower! The woman in front of me screeched and nearly hit the ceiling and it took all my power not to die laughing
I remember the theater holding their breath during the whole long take in Children of Men when they’re in the building and then the baby starts crying. And more than a few sniffles from the audience. It was just such an incredibly powerful sequence.
