Just re-reading Witch King by @marthawells.bsky.social - I love books that leave you satisfied yet wanting to know more. The interweaving of past and present was a nice storytelling device, Pacat's Dark Heir did something similar. These stories reflect how the past lingers, influencing the present.

Social media has weirdly conditioned a huge number of people to feel like they're Doing Something by posting, and Doing Nothing if they don't post about a particular thing, and in general neither of those things are true.
