i’m not sure accelerationists like that exist. i mostly seen that term used to caricature third party voters, who may have an overly idealistic electoral strategy but are earnestly trying to win an election and are not accelerationists

I don't think one loud voice provides enough of economic incentive to qualify as "audience capture". @jamellebouie.net means it derisively as telling your audience what they want to hear to keep their subscription. I'm not sure that's a bad thing, especially in politics.
what are downsides of audience capture, exactly? i'm asking as a member of the audience. seems like being having your thoughts influenced by feedback from your audience is a productive relationship, even at the extreme end of things.

I was lucky enough to have two very vocal, independent minded parents who had a consensus about me sucking, so I learned not have illusions about gender socialization or solidarity or whatever other force is offered as an explanation for why women would inevitably have better behavior here
