Yeah that’s what I mean. I’m pretty sure there’s no legal requirements/enforcement of what the alternative education is. So you could do unschooling in the UK afaik

No it’s legal in the UK, I was home-educated. If you take your kids out of school then the local council can check on you but if you never went there’s no legal restrictions or requirements (I have complicated feelings about whether it’s a good idea but that’s a whole other conversation)
