Who can spot the issue with this particular part of the Ohio GOP anti-abortion argument in favor of ignoring or circumventing the referendum? ohiohouse.gov/news/republi...

I felt physically ill when I excerpted it.

WAIT-- Obsidian has an integration with Readwise? I need to check into this. Could change the game for me.

Enjoyed discussing Abortion federalism, disability, and divided citizenship on this panel about ā€œReproductive Health, Rights and Justice for Disabled Peopleā€ with Allison Whelan and Jennifer L. Brinkley.

Three women sit at a table. One has long blonde hair, is wearing a blue striped shirt, and is looking to the right. One has long brown hair and is wearing a green shirt, and one is wearing a striped suit jacket with brown hair.

When you show up to give a talk about abortion in your home state, your hair has to be on point. I donā€™t make the rules. šŸ’‡ā€ā™€ļø

The best email I have ever received was a prof realizing I was emailing her about an exam from the hospital during my masters and her telling me I wasnā€™t allowed to email her until I was discharged.

I 100% agree with this. I was so stressed about the ABA rules, even though I didnā€™t miss for irresponsible reasons. But I was an evening student and Iā€™m graduate school at the same time. And sh** happens. I also graduated at the top of my class. Let adults be adultsā€¦ (my beef w/ law schools)

I absolutely follow up with students who miss class more than once or twice. But I donā€™t need pictures of someoneā€™s medical condition. And I would also suggest students would it penalized in the workplace for providing that much detail.

It is. Also, itā€™s ironic bc Iā€™m writing an entire book about why the disability con sucks. I wish I could just make them read it and then theyā€™d understand how little Iā€™m questioning anything šŸ˜‚

I know why it happens. But it is still really horrifying when you have a very vivid/active medical imagination. šŸ˜‚
