Today I'm getting FIOS installed. I have been procrastinating on this for 11 years. ELEVEN YEARS. It was still Time Warner back then. Sheesh. One the one hand, hurray - finally! On the other, I am horrified that I kept putting it off, and at all the money I wasted.

I have been trying to get FiOS for about ELEVEN YEARS. Just checked again and Verizon still doesn’t have my block connected.
this house was already wired for Cox cable but I splurged and had FiOS installed when I bought it and we absolutely love it.
Our FIOS is so great. I am so happy we switched.
I’d love some Comcast competition in my area. Literally no other internet provider options aside from satellite, which is not an option.
Update: I just finally, jubilantly, canceled my cable. Unexpectedly, I ended up having a truly delightful 44-minute (!) chat with the customer service rep. None of it was about cable. It was all about movies and celebs we'd met and Schwarzenegger's love child. Almost made me sad to cancel.
