Writing is a skill. Sculpting is a skill. Drawing is a skill. Acting is a skill. Skills can be learned, honed, perfected. While there are people using AI as accessibility devices, the majority using them just don't want to do the work. They want to farm the people who DID invest the time.

And oh how I would love to smack the people who use disabled artists as a shield for exploitation.

Me thinks this is more of personal ethics and moral issue. Car is a great invention. It can be used to travel n see the world then again, it can used to as a get away car. All starts by teaching kids between good vs bad ethics and moral. But moreover, strong self control.

Using AI is a skill, too. Categorize it as a hobby if you want, but it's still a skill.

There was this kid who'd come into the guitar shop where I worked and just shred better than I could dream of, and I didn't think he was just naturally more talented than me, I knew he probably played that guitar for hours every day to get that good. I hope he's a pro musician now

Art is simply experiencing what every skilled fabricator did during the 80s and 90s when all their jobs were outsourced. Management took what they learned from other peoples hard work, distilled it and found a way to replicate for less. Nothing is sacred with capitalism.
