Can I just say how great technology is sometimes? We went to our local zoo today and I was using my phone and a tablet to be able to see things. Binoculars don't work with my eyes, but this let me have the experience of going to look some stuff despite the whole blindness thing.

It's been giving me something to focus on while my October has been in chaos from like three different directions. I've been really grateful for it as something fun to do.

Also, I've gotten a whole slew of new people as of late and I'll do an introduction/pinned post in the next few days to give you a better idea of who the hell I even am.

I've gottta say, I'm in the middle of doing @ninocipri.bsky.social horror class and it's been a great tmie. I'm really enjoying it and it's giving me the push to actually work on stories I've had lingering in the back of my head in one form or another. I'm so glad I decided to try it out.
