Trump endorsed him and he got 53% of the state in 2020. Whoever he endorsed in 2022 was probably going to win and everyone knew it. (He still managed to underperform every other statewide GOP candidate. And that's with Ron Howard directing the film of his NYT bestseller autobiography!)
