In a lot of mental pain and I can't talk to the person I would normally talk to about it. :/
I just sent this gif to my friends. I went as this guy for Halloween one year, too.
Another: In college I had gotten into horror movies (no one in my family liked them, so I didn't see many growing up). A couple friends and I rented (yes rented) Paranormal Activity and watched it in my friend's dark house with no one else home. I will never be as scared watching a movie again.
As a young kid, my dad & I went to see A Goofy Movie. We happen to have the whole theater to ourselves (which is still a rare occurrence years later). As a kid, I thought this was mind-blowing. My dad told me to walk up the aisle since I could. It's still a great memory of spending time with my dad.
I would disagree with the "now" part. Game developers have been chasing graphics since the 80's. It just that now the hardware has gotten so good that we're seeing diminishing returns on that. It takes much more to wow us.
Kim, they spent $400M USD on a sci-fi team shooter that they immediately yoinked. They gotta milk the gamers SOMEHOW.
