Ok so the good news is that when a pitch comes along which quite clearly has been made with enormous amount of love for the craft, it utterly destroys any AI argument without saying a word. It’s absurd how bereft of joy any AI project is

My brain is imploding, I can’t believe any creative can use it with a straight face, and worse I can’t believe commissioners are not questioning it

There is no interrogation either of the legality or morality of AI, ( some of them (proudly) want to use it in their shows)- and how they open themselves up for not being able to own the rights to it, even if they just use AI in production pipelines / open themselves up to plagiarism

So it turns out there are very developed film pitches just using AI and raising money & distribution off the back of it. With essentially no evidence of any craft or proof they can create their vision or atmosphere & ideas It really is quite depressing

A cool ranch flavour of harassment is men (who you don’t know) who are “concerned” about you & want to make sure you’re safe & ok - by messaging you constantly - across different platforms, very worried as to why you don’t message them back - which makes you feel extremely unsafe & not ok

JFC! Even if we can eliminate all CO₂ emissions from fossil fuels with carbon dioxide removal (CDR) or carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) (we can't; not even close), we shouldn't keep setting carbon on fire because air pollution from combustion will still kill millions of people every year.
