I think it’s the commonality of empathy for a situation a character is in. Unfortunately some people never had to train that muscle beyond their lived experience.

The audacity it takes to think removing the human element from Art just makes the process better and efficient. I hate the “Content” mindset when it comes to making things. No other litmus test required to ever see if you should be in the room with the creatives honestly.
