The screenshot sounds like a "gotcha" but like, yes, that is the point. Dystopian fiction is the way of showing privileged people how horrifying it would be if the things they do to others were done to them. Also a way for marginalized people to point out the horrors we see & ask for action.
as soon as i finished writing my morning pages today about creativity and stuff, i got an email from a place where i go to improv that they're opening artist residency and their first resident is a polish artist. hello!!! i also want in!!!!!!!! pls??????

do stuff badly stop living in a jail of only doing stuff you do well draw badly write badly code badly sport badly only way to get good at more things is by doing them through being bad at them if you enjoy it keep doing it badly even if you don't get good unless it's a job good isn't the point
aftermath.site/kaos-cancell... For reference on life is like trying to make entertainment right now vs. a little while ago: Kaos averaged 1.9 million viewers per episode = cancelled Regular Show averaged 1.9 million viewers per episode = 8 seasons, movie, videogame, comics, and soon a 9th season

I can’t recommend enough that, if you want to get better at art, you have to find ways to make it fun. Art is already hard but if you make it fun, it makes it a little less hard
A stronger body and mind means you're not as likely to hurt yourself drawing in the long run, so try to find exercise you actually like, and also take breaks and rest and do other things you enjoy. Enriching your life enriches your art.
learn to care about the process and not the result. enjoy the act. trust that the result will be a cherry on top but don't make it your goal.
