Finally got around to playing Duke Nukem Forever properly (ironic, considering I bought the deluxe set after having waited 12 years for the damn release, and having played once and not actually got past the intro battle). I've played some more of the game. Once I stopped judging it by modern standards, and took it as Duke Nukem 3D with prettier graphics, I'm enjoying it a lot more. Some of the dialogue is painful by modern standards, but it's actually quite fun.
