The good news is that Asian Carp are so ridiculously stupid that it's impossible to NOT catch them. All of the native species are smart enough to get out of the way.

Also, overfishing them is literally impossible. The objective is to kill as many as possible, as fast as possible, just to keep native species from being wiped out.
