yeah, for me it's "delete on seeing the subject line" territory. I don't even want to know how it may come together.

Oh no, not again… (he seems to get a different group every time and is remarkably persistent)

OMG, no, because that one is new to me. Thanks for the donation. Next time... (I assume the next time with Pyrrhus and Hannibal will be first, so then)

This is such a tricky thing in classics because Routledge publishes so much good, important stuff and has gone for the dark side so enthusiastically.

Ideally, yes. I imagine this is where there are problems.

And if it’s something that’s important to your admissions process, put it on the website (this seems to be the case with Chicago, who give you instructions and let you know that the application will have a space to mention which faculty member you talked to)

There’s an entire oxygen and IV bar industry in tourist towns, which gives you a very exaggerated sense of the issue. It starts in the Denver airport, btw. You can pick between regular airport bar and oxygen bar. The oxygen is more expensive, of course.

Oh (and that's it), Moab can be ridiculously expensive for hotels. If it is absurd for your exact dates, there are options further afield. I loved the River Rock Inn in Green River, for example.

I should mention: I live near Denver and the altitude of Ouray/Black Canyon gives me a little bit of trouble. Arches isn't noticeably different from Denver, but once you're over 2000 meters, almost everyone feels it.

Also, all National Parks and big state parks have a visitors' center that's very well-equipped to deal with "what can we do in a car/what really easy walks do you recommend?" They pride themselves in having something for everyone no matter what their abilities and interests. So always start there.
