LOL reading the upcoming oral history of the New York Post and an example of Murdoch's crude sleazy political manipulation is having a reporter ask people "Walter Mondale is a good man, but he's perceived as weak. Why do you think this is so?" which is functionally identical to the Times on Harris

Fair point. As a gatekeeper function, though, it’s misused. And that is, imo, on par with misuse/increased use of MSJ.

It’s late, and it’s Friday…and, not to be glib, but if you can’t get past the MTD, you can’t have a jury hear your case?

Except that often times the MTD prevents discovery that may unveil the very set of facts needed to survive.

How in fresh hell is the headline for an article about a guy pretending to have a wife and THREE daughters "G.O.P. Candidates, Looking to Soften Their Image, Turn to Their Wives"?!?!?!

People criticize the NY Times, but USA Today has a lot of readers too. So why is USA Today publishing a headline ("Harris can't stop lying about Trump and Project 2025") that's such garbage? The article is by a new USA Today author, Nicole Russell. Read on for a good story. 1/

It is worth noting that cardiac events among young people were increasing before COVID due to lifestyle factors (and probably stress).
