Having your own terms & conditions doesn't matter; corporates override them with their own anyway. I just rage-read 2 fine-print pages of T&Cs for a new client that's all about my duties and my potential failures and nothing about theirs.

When I started trying to get companies to sign contracts, everything got bogged down because it "has to go through legal", and firstly people don't like doing that, secondly "legal" are usually wankers, and thirdly, I don't actually have a lawyer on side.
