the maintenance of this vast empire is why you don't have healthcare, it's why the federal minimum wage is $7.25/hr, it's why our bridges are collapsing. why there's no decent public transit. and make no mistake, it's *your* labor that they are extracting to make it all happen

the local news was on in the lobby at the doctor's office and they were airing a segment on boeing and I kid you not, ALL the "reporting" was just them sharing and repeating statements FROM boeing. not only is this not journalism, it's capitalist propaganda. blatantly
the company that chartered the ship that crashed into the Key Bridge in Baltimore was sanctioned last year for stopping employees from reporting safety concerns. the ship itself was also detained in the past for malfunctioning and the company that owns the ship has been sued for safety violations
