One of the reasons I found The Eudaemonic Pie as entertaining as I did was because they ended up with at least a modicum of success for their project despite the UC Santa Cruz hippie physics culture that weighed on it.

Yeah when they started they were adamant that it could be any monosyllabic sound made three times in a row and would always change it up themselves. Then they signed to Touch and Go, who remedied that affectation tout suite.
