The chocolate store in old Ellicott city does old bay chocolates (in the shape of crabs!) so it seems like it would work

This recipe puts the salt into the custard so I think that might be worth exploring - can probably tell pretty easily how that works out

Yeah I’m thinking replace part of the salt in the Graham cracker layer and sprinkle a little on top too
