Deadpool & Wolverine in cinema was the last time I actually laughed out loud the last 6 months tho.
Anyway whatever floats your boat and keeps it from sinking into a deep dark endless depth of despair.. I should rewatch The Terror (season 1) sometime.
There's just not enough actual comedies around. The Terror is great tho. Still some recs you probably all know (maybe less great but haha funny): Dick Turpin, Ted Lasso, What we do in the Shadows, Ghosts, Lower Decks, Atypical, Children Ruin Everything. Depending on crassness: Peacemaker, The Boys
Mostly seeing remote as an experience privilege or for outsourcers among open job postings right now but yeah.
I think that's right on the speculative investments. Portfolio gaps and lack of production results will force some other hands eventually being my guess.
Whhhaaaaaaaa?
I would expect some of the contraction to be eventually reversed. That being the cyclical nature of capitalism. Some of the redistribution is sure going to last. Question is which parts of it. Redistribution to AI, cheaper territories, outsourcers..? I'm skeptical on the first being a replacement.
Maybe 2027. It's a hard sell to spend more money until you've actually seen the hit on the top line.
I know the common prayer right now is 'survive until 2025' but I think it might take a little longer than that.
