I helped launch a grassroots esports merch website and service with level1. I haven't talked to level1 about this but i hope to help get some merch shops for splatoon majors and have many artists contribute designs!

I wish people would stop doomposting about the Splatoon community dying. IPL and Dapple were founded after content was done for S2, it’s when the majority of the biggest content creators in our scene started making content. And that was during endgame S2, which is the worst point of the seires

On a very non Splatoon note I’m actually very excited for Sonic x Shadow generations. The original gens is a top 5 all time platformer and adding a second full length campaign that also looks fantastic ala bowsers fury is so sick, I can’t wait

I really think a lot of the negative things that happened could have been much better dealt with if the sendou server had better moderation. 2 mods, no moderation bots, and a tiny non-comprehensive rules section is something youd expect to see in a team server with like 20-40 people, not 31,000+.

Question, obviously there is a major problem with having like no real top teams right now, but why? What’s holding players back from forming teams?
